Katherine Lucille Patton age 83 of Fries, Va. passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Patton was born on May 15, 1924 in Grayson County, Va. to Marvin & Cora Hawks Funk. She is survived by her husband Herman Warren Patton of Fries, Va.; daughters & son-in-law Betty & Greg Davis of Fries, Va.; Elaine Parker of Oak Ridge, N.C.; son & daughter-in-law Dicky & Tammy Patton of Fries, Va.; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held Friday, October 26, 2007 at 2:00 pm in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Gloria Lancaster Rhudy officiating. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from seven until nine at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
