Katherine Helen Bohon age 100 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2019 in the Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center.

Mrs. Bohon was born in Galax, Virginia on February 12, 1919 to John Madison and Mary McKinney Williams. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Bohon and nine siblings.

She is survived by a sister Margaret Harris of Mt. Airy, North Carolina and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Friday at 2:30 PM in the Bluemont Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Gregory officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
