Karen Denise Winesett age 47 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, July 6, 2020 in the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina.

Karen was born in Fredericksburg, Virginia on July 6, 1973 to Dennis Paul and Rebecca Neal Vipperman Winesett.

She is survived by her husband Dale Smith; mother Rebecca Winesett both of Galax, Virginia; several aunts, uncles and cousins; special friends Neil Aker and Ricky P. Money.

The funeral service will be held Thursday at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Ronnie McMillan officiating. Burial will follow in the Snow Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from six until eight at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
