Junior Loyd Roberts' Obituary
Junior Loyd Roberts age 87 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Trinity Mission in Hillsville, Virginia.
Mr. Roberts was born in Grayson County, Virginia on July 17, 1927 to Walter and Gerzilda Dickerson Roberts.
He is survived by his wife Arlene Roberts; daughter Linda Lineberry; son and daughter-in-law Tim and Susie Roberts all of Galax, Virginia; granddaughter and husband Jada and Brandon Galyean; great-grandchildren Tinley Galyean and Hollynn Galyean; sister Virginia Davis of Galax, Virginia; sisters-in-law Frances Roberts and Mallie Roberts both of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Friday, January 30, 2015 at 12 noon in the Mt. Pisgah Church of Christ with Marvin Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Galax City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 11:00 AM until time for the funeral service at Mt. Pisgah Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Twin County Hospice, P.O. Box 106, Galax, Virginia 24333. The family will be at the home of Tim and Susie Roberts where friends may call.
