Junior Lee Dotson age 79 of Galax, Va. passed away Thursday-April 12, 2007 in the VA Medical Center in Salem, Va.. Junior was born in Carroll County, Va. on August 23, 1927 to the late Lee Burton & Fannie Cox Dotson. He is survived by sons & daughter-in-law, Elwood Dotson of Galax, Va.; Wayne & Brenda Dotson of Mt. Airy, N.C.; sisters & brother-in-law, Eula Mae & Herbert Tate of Hixson, Tennessee; Ila Faye Moseley of Dobson, North Carolina; three grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, one great-grandson and several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held Saturday, April 14, 2007 at 2:00 PM in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Ted Bartlett officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland United Methodist Church Cemetery with Military Rites by Hillsville VFW Post 1115. The family will receive friends Friday evening from seven until nine at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
