June Davis' Obituary
June Davis age 87 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2013 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Ms. Davis was born on August 12, 1925 in Grayson County, Virginia to Thomas Alexander and Clara Moser Davis.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Becky and Elwood Bobbitt of Woodlawn, Virginia; sons and daughters-in-law Bobby and Brenda Davis; Dennis and Phyllis Davis all of Sparta, North Carolina; grandchildren Tommy Bobbitt; Michael Davis; Marty Davis and Brandi Weatherman; seven great-grandchildren; special friend Teresa Ray.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, July 20, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the Crab Creek Cemetery with Elder Pete Hawks officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Friends may call Friday night at the home of Elwood and Becky Bobbitt, 52 Grandview Drive, Woodlawn, Virginia. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Crab Creek Cemetery Fund, 1602 Crab Creek Road, Ennice, North Carolina 28623.
