Julius Rayfield York's Obituary
Julius Rayfield (Ray) York age 90 of Lexington, South Carolina passed away Friday, February 25, 2011 in the Lexington Extended Care in Lexington.
Mr. York was born on July 30, 1920 in Greensboro, North Carolina to Ernest C. and Alma C. Cox York.
He is survived by his wife Helen Funk York of Lexington, South Carolina; brothers-in-law and wife John and Carol Funk of West Chester, Pa.; Billy Vaughan of Fries, Va.; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Monday, February 28, 2011 at 1:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel. Burial will follow in the Summerfield United Methodist Church Cemetery with Military Rites by Grayson VFW Post 7726. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Officiating minister will be the Rev. Michael Henderson.
