Judy Haynes age 73 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, August 14, 2016 in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Haynes was born in Grayson County, Virginia on February 18, 1943 to Blace and Alma Combs Davis.
She is survived by her husband Roger Haynes of Galax, Virginia; son Jonathan Haynes of Raleigh, North Carolina; sisters and brothers-in-law JoAnne and Gene Bloomwell of Williamsburg, Virginia; Belinda Garland of Galax, Virginia; Helen and Gayle Summers of Manassas, Virginia; Janie and Jimmy Goodson of Kernersville, North Carolina; Nancy and Jerry Wiseman of Dunnellon, Florida; brothers and sisters-in-law Richard and Bertie Davis of Newport News, Virginia; Eddie and Hazel Davis; Gary and Cheryl Davis all of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service for the family will be held Friday, August 19, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Richard Gregory officiating. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 246, Abingdon, Virginia 24212.
