Juanita Isabel Robinson's Obituary
Juanita Isabel Robinson, age 89, of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012 in the Waddell Nursing Home.
Juanita was born in Galax on August 26, 1922 to Sidney Rufus and Carrie Edwards Cox. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John Paul Robinson (Pete) and a granddaughter Sonya Gill.
She is survived by her daughter Glenda Gill and grandson Tommy Gill of Gorham, New Hampshire; sisters Katherine Johnson and Clyde Baker, brother and sister-in-law Alfred and Thelma Cox all of Galax, VA and special friend Brenda Harmon of Galax, VA. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Morris officiating. Interment will follow in the Felts Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Flowers will be appreciated or donations may be made to the First Christian Church, 402 N. Jefferson Street, Galax, VA 24333.
