Juanita Smith Hampton's Obituary
Juanita Ethel Smith Hampton age 96 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday October 14, 2022 in the Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center.
Mrs. Hampton was born in Carroll County, Virginia on May 22, 1926 to Raymond Bryant and Francena Ethel Melton Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Roy Dale Hampton, Sr.
She is survived by her daughter Betsy Hampton Harrison of Galax, Virginia; son Dale Hampton, Jr. of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; grandson Brandon Hampton; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM in the Galax City Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Gregory officiating. There will be no visitation.
