Joyce Christine Viar's Obituary
Joyce Christine Viar, age 77, of Fries, VA, died Saturday, July 24, 2010 at the Twin County Regional Hospital, Galax, VA.
Mrs. Viar was born on Nov. 24, 1932 to Forester and Ethel Mae Rosenbaum Wright.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Viar, Fries, VA, daughters & son-in-law, Debbie and Jay Pearman, Fries, VA and Cathy Coleman of Galax, VA, grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Kevin & Karan Pearman, great-granddaughter, Jaelyn Pearman, sisters, Hazel "Toppie" VanDyke, Richmond, VA, Lucille Nuckolls, Johnson City, TN, Phyllis Dix, Rural Retreat, VA, Ann Bewer, Dublin, VA, Mary "Baby" Harris, Richmond, VA, Brothers, Freddie Wright and Eddie Wright both of Richmond. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A graveside service and burial will be held, Monday, July 26, 2010, 2:00 PM at Monta Vista Memory Gardens, Galax, VA. Officiating minister will be the Rev. Joe Carico. There will be no visitation.
