Joyce Rebecca Reavis' Obituary
Joyce Rebecca Sexton Reavis age 76 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018 in the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina.
Mrs. Reavis was born in Carroll County, Virginia on July 17, 1941 to Benjamin and Ida Ramey Sexton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lee Reavis, Sr..
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law Robby and Stacey Reavis; John and Valerie Reavis all of Galax, Virginia; four grandchildren Hayley Reavis, Abbey Reavis, Levi Reavis and Zackery Reavis; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Friday, March 2, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Chaplain Jason Kline officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Woltz Hospice Home 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson, North Carolina 27017.
