Joyce Ann Poe age 67 of Fries, Virginia passed away Monday, May 27, 2019 in the North Carolina Baptist Hospital.

Joyce was born in Grayson County, Virginia on September 26, 1951 to Joe Thomas and Rosabelle Johnson Blevins. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Arthur Poe, Sr.; daughter Barbie Gail Poe.

She is survived by a son Tommy Arthur Poe, Jr. of Fries, Virginia; granddaughter Kaleigh Robinson; sisters and brothers-in-law Esther Hill of Galax, Virginia; Nancy and Bryan Jones; Brenda and Mike Jones all of Fries, Virginia; Debbie and Wes Taylor of Independence, Virginia; brothers and sisters-in-law Tommy and Rosalie Blevins; Dennis and Rhonda Blevins all of Fries, Virginia; David and Diane Blevins; Terry and Sharon Blevins all of Galax, Virginia; Ricky and Janie Blevins of Tennessee; Charles and Angela Blevins of Fancy Gap, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; special friends Sally Towler and Jeff Trimble; her pet Oreo.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1:00 PM in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Darrin Brannock and Pastor Chuck Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12 noon until time for the funeral service at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
