Josephine Chappell age 84 of Fries, Virginia passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2020 in the Galax Health and Rehab Center.

Ms. Chappell was born in Grayson County, Virginia on January 21, 1936 to Cabble and Maude Willey Chappell.

She is survived by sisters and brother-in-law Ella Mae and Larry Williams of King, North Carolina; Mary Ann Lineberry of Princeton, North Carolina; Shirley Burkhardt of Fries, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held at the McKenzie Cemetery with the Rev. Tony Vaughan officiating.
