Joseph Dale Tate's Obituary
Joe Dale Tate, 62, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2009 at his home in Fries.
He was born in Grayson County, May 16, 1947 to Joseph Bass and Gertrude Snow Tate.
He is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law Randy & Gypsy Tate of High Point, NC and Joseph D Tate of Fries; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Charlotte & Sam Brewer of Galax; Elsie & Donnie Billings of Fries; a brother Homer Lee Tate, Fries, VA; special aunt Loretta Bond of Fries; two other aunts Roberta Goad of Galax and Vernita & Dee Guynn of Jacksonville, Florida. Eight grandchildren also survive.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 20, 2009 at 11:30 AM at the Fries Cemetery with Rev. John Williams officiating.
