Joseph Edgar Poe age 75 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday October 23, 2006 at Twin County Regional Hospital. He was born on April 25, 1931 in Carroll County, Va. to the late Ralph Talmadge and Flora Jones Poe. He is survived by his wife Tessie Poe and sister Oritha Poe both of Galax, Va.. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The funeral service will be held Thursday October 26, 2006 at 2:00 PM in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Billy Yates officiating. Burial will follow in Felts Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from one until service time at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
