Joseph Neal Marshall known as Joe Marshall age 37 of Galax, Virginia passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017 at the Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina.
Joe was born in Stuart, Virginia on January 4, 1980 to Dennis and Opaleane Terry Marshall.
In addition to his parents of Ararat, Virginia he is survived by his wife Chrissy Lynne Bell Marshall; children Isabella Marshall; Cassidy Marshall and Briley Marshall all of Galax, Virginia; brother and sister-in-law Jeffrey and Jana Marshall of Meadows of Dan, Virginia; maternal grandparents Oneal and Oneeda Terry of Meadows of Dan, Virginia; father-in-law Randy Bell of Galax, Virginia; nieces Lindsey Marshall and Jaelyn Bell; nephews Jonathan Marshall and Tyler Marshall.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Rick Lindamood and Jeffrey Marshall officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Vale Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1;00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
