Joseph Michael Mundy age 49 of Atlanta, Georgia passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at his home. He is survived by his wife Peggie Mundy of Atlanta; children Mary Mundy & Davis Bayles of Atlanta; mother & step-father Jerry & John Parsons of Galax, Va.; sister & brother-in-law Mandy & David Durnovich of Independence, Va.; step-sister & her husband Susan & Mark Fackrell of Galax, Va.; two nieces & one nephew. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 29, 2007 at 2:00 pm at the family home on Peachbottom Road in Independence, Va.. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the American Heart Association.
