Joseph Coates Ring better known as J.C. Ring age 77 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, September 22, 2011 at his home.
Mr. Ring was was born in Virginia on November 26, 1933 to Graham and Callie Musser Ring.
He is survived by his wife Beulah Ring of Galax, Virginia; daughters and sons-in-law Teresa Byrd; Cindy and Lee Denton all of Galax, Virginia; Angie and Frankie Fortner of Fries, Virginia; son Charles Ring of New Carrollton, Maryland, brother and sister-in-law Roger and Clara Ring of Galax,Virginia; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, September 25, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Myron Dalton and Rev. Claude Holderfield officiating. Burial will follow in the McKenzie Cemetery with Military Rites by Grayson VFW Post 7726. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from six until eight at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
