Joseph Kevin Blackwell age 46 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, June 10, 2016 at his home.
Joseph was born on December 29, 1969 in Danville, Virginia.
He is survived by his parents Curtis and Christine Summey of Fries, Virginia; sister Kimberly Ruff of East Bend, North Carolina; nieces Chelsea Gary; Winter Gary; Summer Bourne and Taylor Huskey; nephew Draven Bourne.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, June 12, 2016 at 3:00 PM in the Fries Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery with the Rev. Tony Vaughan officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
