Joseph Barnett Miller age 60 passed away Saturday, February 3, 2024 at his home in Galax, Virginia where he had lived for the past 15 years.

Joe was born on January 29, 1964, in Portland, Oregon to Harold Eugene and Ruby Lee DeLong Miller.

Joe went to the Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Portland. He loved cooking and worked at Nike World as a Chef. He also worked at Multnomah Plywood, plus other places in the Portland area in addition to Galax.

He is survived by his fiancé' Anita Bowers Hanks; son Joseph Miller; stepdaughter Sarah Warner; brothers Dennis Miller and Rick Miller; sister Rebecca Landers; three nieces Jennifer, Suzanne and Tiffany; and two nephews Kevin and Joshua.

There will be no services held for Joe at this time.
