Johnsie Faye Nichols age 85 of Fries, Va. passed away Wednesday night in Twin County Regional Hospital. Mrs. Nichols was born in Grayson County, Va. on August 10, 1921 to the late Thomas Franklin & Cora Virginia Poe Hawks. She is survived by her husband Bud Nichols and daughter Martha Nichols both of Fries, Va.; one sister Betty Gibson of Collinsville, Va.; several sisters-in-law; several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held Saturday, March 10, 2007 at 2:00 PM at the Fries Baptist Church with Rev. John Williams and Rev. A.L. Stanley officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from seven until nine at Fries Baptist Church.
