Johnny Trimble age 77 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday December 28, 2022 at his home.

Johnny was born in Grayson County, Virginia on September 2, 1945 to Benjamin Frank and Hattie Sue Carico Trimble. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter Angela Jeanette Trimble; sister Vertie Litteral and a special friend Lloyd Williams.

Johnny proudly served his country in the US Navy.

He is survived by his wife Bonnie Hawks Trimble of Galax, Virginia; daughters and son-in-law Melissa and Tim Burnette; Jenny  Lynn Trimble all of Galax, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law Jimmy and Hannah Trimble of Waco, Texas; sisters and brothers-in-law Susie and Jerry Hawks; Dimple and Ray Carico all of Fries, Virginia; brothers and sisters-in-law Jeff Trimble; Mickey and Kim Trimble; Joey and Tammy Trimble; Buster and Sally Trimble; B.B. and Betty Trimble all of Fries, Virginia; brother-in-law Benny Litteral of Ivanhoe, Virginia; seven grandchildren Tyler Burnette; Austin Burnette; Angela Sexton; Dylan Sexton; Loren Trimble; Megan Trimble and Autumn and Seth Hanson; one great-grandchild Hayden Hanson; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Friday at 2:00 PM in the Crooked Creek Cemetery with Lawrence Warden officiating. Military Rites will be conducted  by the Grayson VFW Post 7726. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
