Johnny Evan Melton age 59 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday at his home.

Johnny was born in Galax, Virginia on March 15, 1965.

He is survived by his mother Estelle Lineberry of Galax, Virginia; sisters and brother-in-law Sandra (Liz) Sharp; Vickie and Butch Riley; brother Robert (Snoopy) Sharp all of Galax, Virginia; brother-in-law Ivan Payne of Low Gap North Carolina; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. in the Monta Vista Cemetery with Ivan Payne officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
