John H. Wagoner age 80 of Galax, Va. passed away Sunday, April 29, 2007 at Waddell Nursing Home. Mr. Wagoner was born in Alleghany County, North Carolina on December 16, 1926 to the late John W. & Donnie Brown Wagoner. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son James M. Wagoner. He is survived by his wife Agnes L. Wagoner; son Otis L. Wagoner both of Galax, Va.; sisters Sadie Jane Wagoner of Galax, Va.; Vella Wiles of North Carolina; a brother Jim Wagoner of Low Gap, N.C.; three grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at 11:00 AM in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Bill Ring officiating. Burial will follow in McKenzie Cemetery.
