John David Tibbs' Obituary
John David (J.D.) Tibbs age 68 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016 in the Forsyth Specialty Select Hospital.
J.D. was born in Grayson County, Virginia on November 26, 1947 to Paul B. and Sarah Elizabeth Davidson Tibbs. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Johnny Tibbs and a sister Linda Tibbs Wingler.
He is survived by his son Christopher Tibbs of Winchester, Virginia; brother Billy Tibbs of Galax, Virginia; several grandchildren; one niece; three nephews and four first cousins.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
