John Phipps Patton's Obituary
John Phipps Patton age 83 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, December 16, 2010 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Mr. Patton was born on October 6, 1927 in Carroll County, Virginia to Carl Everett and Laura Ellen Brewer Patton.
He is survived by several nieces, nephews and many friends.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Brother Carles Arnold officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery at Fries, Va.. The family will receive friends Friday evening from six until eight at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
