John Clarion Lineberry better known as J.C. Lineberry age 90 of Galax, Va. passed away Thursday, April 10, 2008 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mr. Lineberry was born in Carroll County, Va. on June 14, 1917 to Ralph & Josie Littrell Lineberry. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Berlyne Caldwell Lineberry. He is survived be a daughter and son-in-law Wanda Gaye & Nike English of Raleigh, N.C.; son Roland Lineberry of Galax, Va.; his sisters Guida Hackler of Roanoke, Va. and Kate Ella Angle of Salem, Va.; sister-in-law Jewell Lineberry of Galax, Va.; several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held Monday, April 14, 2008 at 11:00 am in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Evangelist Jim Hill, Sammy Burnette and Billy Burnette officiating. Burial will follow in Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from six until eight at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
