John Wayne Lawson's Obituary
John Wayne Lawson age 58 of Max Meadows, Virginia passed away Monday, May 2, 2016 at his home.
John was born in Hillsville, Virginia on June 7, 1957 to Mason Ray and Katheryn Frost Lawson. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by two brothers Jerry Lawson and Mark Lawson.
He is survived by his wife Angie Grimes Lawson of Max Meadows, Virginia; daughter Amy Alexis Lawson; mother Katheryn Frost Lawson; brother Doug Lawson all of Galax, Virginia; special nephew Jody Lawson of Woodlawn, Virginia; niece Nicole Garrettson and her family; a host of cousins, other relatives and special friends.
The funeral service will be held Friday, May 6, 2016 at 7:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Carroll Lineberry officiating. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 4:00 PM until time for the funeral service at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. Burial will be Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 10:00 AM in the Monta Vista Cemetery. Flowers will be appreciated or donations may be made to the Wytheville Community College Educational Foundation.
