John William Jackson, Sr. age 77 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Friday, April 10, 2009 at his home. Mr.Jackson was born on August 26, 1931 in Tennessee to John Ransom & Priscilla West Jackson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Frances Dee Hampton Jackson. He is survived by his sons Johnny William Jackson, Jr. of Bear, Delaware, Jerry Ray Jackson of Williamsburg, Va.; Scotty Clifford Jackson of Woodlawn, Va.; sisters Ann Felts of Woodlawn, Va.; Jean McCurry of Newport News, Va., one grandson Jared Jackson; several nieces & nephew. The funeral service will be held Sunday, April 12, 2009 at 2:00 pm in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Russell Payne officiating. Burial will follow in Felts Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday one hour prior the funeral service at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
