John Melvin Horner age 80 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, May 6, 2019 in the Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center.

Mr. Horner was born in West Virginia on May 19, 1938 to Acca and Beulah Sinnett Horner. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Maggie Jean Horner and brothers Richard Horner and Billy Horner.

He is survived by his children and spouses Tammy Street; Margaret and Matt Harper; Violet and Eddie McBride all of Galax, Virginia; Robin and Jesse Crouse of Fries, Virginia; Joh Allen Horner of Marion, Virginia; sister Donna Jean Yelich of West Virginia; brothers Bobby Horner of Florida and Jimmy Horner of West Virginia; thirteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild and another one on the way; several nieces and nieces

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
