John Wesley Bedsaul age 74 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, December 11,2017 at his home.

Mr. Bedsaul was born on December 18, 1942 in Grayson County, Virginia to John Bruce and Leona Bell Crigger Bedsaul. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant son, five brothers, three half-sisters and four half-brothers.

He is survived by his wife Wanda Bedsaul of Galax, Virginia; daughters and son-in-law Lynn and Terry Howard of Gray Court, South Carolina; Melissa Vaughn of Galax, Virginia; sisters and brothers-in-law Dorothy Lee And Ravi Ramsinghani of Radford, Virginia; Barbara Ann Alley; Faye and Hobert Bailey all of Galax, Virginia; five grandchildren Amber Jones, Stacey Akers, Shawn Hammond, Kelsey Vaughn, Korey Vaughn, two great-grandchildren Kiley and Konner Jones; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 6:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Pickett officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 PM until time for the service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
