John Douglas Barber age 55 of Lowgap, North Carolina passed away Monday, February 12, 2007 in Twin County Regional Hospital. He was born in Iowa on January 28, 1952 to the late Burton & Opal Kertzer Barber. Survivors include his wife Kimberly Barber and son Sherman Joshua Barber both of Lowgap, N.C.. The funeral service will be held Friday, February 16, 2007 at 2:00 PM in Locust Grove Church of Christ with Guy Russell and Craig Emberee officiating. Burial will follow in Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 PM until service time at Locust Grove Church of Christ.
