Joella Lorraine Bartlett Edwards age 85 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, June 25,2021 at her daughter's home in Radford, Virginia.

Mrs. Edwards was born on November 8, 1935 in Grayson County, Virginia to William Ren and Myrtle Lula Bartlett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Coy Diamond, Rose Osborne, Wallene Fields, Irene Boyer and Hazel Lowe.

She is survived by her husband Bill Edwards of Galax, Virginia; daughters and sons-in-law Regina and Richard Golding of Radford, Virginia; Donna and Eric Lancaster of Richmond, Virginia; granddaughter and her husband Jessica and Darron Blanchard of Richmond, Virginia; sister Ima Lee Hanlin of California; brothers and sisters-in-law Bill and Nell Bartlett of Galax, Virginia; Jerry and Shelia Bartlett of Salem, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

A private funeral service will be held for the family. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request donatons be made to either the Oakland United Methodist Church or to ALS.
