Joe Mack Bobbitt age 63 of Galax, Va. passed away Friday, January 11, 2008 in the Cana Adult Home. Mr. Bobbitt was born in Grayson County, Va. on November 2, 1944 to Olen & Esther Osborne Bobbitt. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Betty Ann Bobbitt. He is survived by his son Eddie Joe Bobbitt of Hillsville, Va.; sisters Irene Bobbitt & Geraldine Bobbitt both of Galax, Va.; Wanda Blevins of Marion, Va.; brother Albert Bobbitt of Hillsville, Va.. A graveside service will be held Sunday, January 13, 2008 at 2:00 at Pleasant Grove Cemetery with Rev. Ted Bartlett officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 12:30 until 1:30 at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
