Joanne Elizabeth Frost of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, February 4, 2019 in the Forsyth Medical Center.

Mrs. Frost was born on May 25, 1940 in Galax, Virginia to Glen and Rena Ann Tolbert Edwards. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Bobby Paul Frost; grandson Jason Paul Thomason; sister Pauline Isom and brothers Larry Edwards, Paul Edwards and Everett Edwards.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Sharon and Allen Nichols of Mt. Airy, North Carolina; Cathy and Boyd Thomason of Galax, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law Randy and Debbie Frost of Hillsville, Virginia; grandchildren and spouses Angelica and Patrick Sheets; Chuck and Juliana Lowe; Genevieve Nichols; Darrick Thomason; Heather Thomason; Jackie Beth Frost and Aurora Frost; great-grandchildren Brody Sheets; Emma Lowe; Charlotte Sheets and Asher Lowe; brothers and sisters-in-law Conley and Phyllis Edwards of Simpsonville, South Carolina; James and Carol Edwards; Roger and Pat Edwards all of Kernersville, North Carolina; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Saturday at 3:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Dr. Ronny Harrison, the Rev. Roger Frost and Allen Nichols officiating. Burial will follow in the Felts Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
