Joann Frances Burnette's Obituary
JoAnn Frances Isom Burnette age 79 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2015 in the Waddell Nursing Home.
Mrs. Burnette was born in Carroll County, Virginia on September 3, 1935 to James Alex ad Alverta Carico Isom. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Richard James Burnette and a daughter Regina Burnette.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Rebecca and Ted Boyer of Galax, Virginia; grandson and his wife Daniel and Shelby Cox; step-great-grandson Bryar Lintecum; sisters-in-law and husband Frances and Dick Hauser of Concord, North Carolina; Alma Isom of Memphis, Tennessee; Shelby Burnette of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 2:00 PM I the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Don Fox and Pastor Ron Hill officiating. Burial will follow in the Jennings Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12 noon until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
