Joann Brown's Obituary
Joann Brown, 65, of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday December 23, 2012 at Golden Living Nursing Home and Rehab Center in Galax. She was born Saturday, July 26, 1947 in Galax to the late George Edward Swain and Stella Cleo Haga Swain.
She is survived by two sons: Dr. Steven Brown of Ohio and Sean Bedsaul of Galax, VA; nine grandchildren: Joy Brown, Sarah Brown, Joe Brown, Tiffany Fields, Kesed Brown, Kali Brown, Hannah Brown, Cheyenne Bedsaul, and Shiloh Brown; two sisters: Kathy Swain and Judy Smith both of Galax, Virginia; three brothers Gary Swain of south Carolina; James and Kenneth Swain both of Galax, Virginia.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at 12:00 Noon in the Monta Vista Cemetery, Galax, Virginia with Rev. Nathan Crowe and Rev. James Linville. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
