Jo Ann "Grandma Jo", of Pickerington, Ohio, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2013 at the age of 69. Loving wife of James W. Bobbitt, Jr.; beloved daughter of the late Blaine and Jincy Reedy; devoted mother of Tammy (Thomas) Dunne and Eric (Carey) Bobbitt; cherished grandmother of Jacob, Logan, and Chandler Bobbitt, and Jessica, Jincy, Joshua, Josey, James, and Joy Dunne; dear sister of Jerry (Jean) Reedy, Charles (Pat) Reedy, and Ruth Reeves; treasured sister-in-law of Emma (Alan) Underwood; she is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. She is preceded in death by her siblings David Reedy, Bill Reedy, Guy Reedy, Junior Reedy, John Reedy, Blaine Reedy, Judy Bonds, Stella Graves, Wilma Shores, and Pauline Laffoon.

She was a member of Violet Baptist Church in Pickerington, Ohio. After her passion for faith and family, she enjoyed spending time playing bingo with her friends.

The family is being served by the Baue Funeral Home, 311 Wood Street, O'Fallon, MO where visitation will be held Monday, August 26, 2013 from 6-00-8:00 PM. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at Baue Funeral Home Chapel, 311 Wood Street, O'Fallon MO.. The body will then be sent to Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home in Galax, Virginia where the family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM. The funeral service will be held following the visitation at 2:00 PM with burial to follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery.
