Jimmy Lee Simone age 58 of La Plata, Maryland passed away Monday September11, 2023 in the Hospice House of Chesapeake.

Jimmy was born in Galax, Virginia on November 29, 1964 to Gary and Christine Duncan Simone.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather Christine and William Tressler of King George, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law Jimmy Lee and Sara Beth Simone of Max Meadows, Virginia; daughter Samantha Simone of Galax, Virginia; four grandchildren Kayden Simone; Dawson Simone;  Bryson Simone and Aubrey Robinson; sister Tammy Simone of Alexandria, Virginia; brothers and sisters-in-law David and Melanie Simone; Billy and Angel Tressler all of La Plata, Maryland; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel  with Terry Simone officiating. Burial will follow in the Joe Bryant Cemetery. Military Rites will be conducted by the Grayson VFW Post 7726. The family will receive friends Sunday from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
