Jimmy Lee Butcher's Obituary
Jimmy Lee Butcher age 65 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2016 in the Forsyth Medical Center.
Jimmy was born in Jopa, Maryland on May 10, 1951 to Kyle Lloyd and Callie Mae McKenzie Butcher.
He is survived by his wife Diane Butcher of Galax, Virginia; son and his special friend Tracy Lee Butcher and Pam Beck of Galax, Virginia; brother Mike Butcher of Galax, Virginia; two grandchildren Dakota Butcher and Candice Newman; four great-grandchildren Easton Shaffner; Haven Butcher; Seth Newman and Tucker Newman; special dog and cat Sashie and Maniac.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 12 noon in the Bible Baptist Church with the Rev. Ted Bartlett and Pastor Garry Adams officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time for the memorial service at the Bible Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to either the Hope House or Soup Kitchen.
