Jimmie Wilford Cooper's Obituary
Jimmie Wilford Cooper, age 83, of Galax, Virginia passed away Saturday, December 19, 2015 at the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Mr. Cooper was born in Bedford, VA, Jan. 1, 1932, to Tommy and Bessie
Ferguson Cooper.
He is survived by daughter, JoAnn Mattson, Jacksonville, FL; son & daughter-in-law, Roy and Connie Cooper, Parkland, FL; grandsons, Jimmy Cooper and Todd Lemaster; sisters, Fran Caldaroni, Juno Beach, FL, Linda Gayle Quinn, Ocala, FL; brother, Buddy Cooper, Saint Augustine, FL and several nieces & nephews.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015 in the Vaughan Guynn Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM. Officiating minister will be the Rev. Richard Gregory. At a later date, burial will be held at Craig Memorial Cemetery, Saint Augustine, Florida. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home Galax, VA.
