Jessie Marie Love Smith age 91 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at her home.

Mrs. Smith was born in McDowell County, West Virginia on May 5, 1928 to Lloyd Henry and Della Johnson Love. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Roy Smith; longtime companion Wayne Ackley; daughter Joyce Krebs; sisters Virginia Watts, Pearl Edens and Mildred Cox; and brother John Love.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Pat and Roger Madison of Woodlawn, Virginia; Carol and Bill Slone of Galax, Virginia; Sue and Joe Sardler of Mt. Airy, North Carolina; sons Dwayne Smith of Warrenton, Virginia and Windell Smith of Galax, Virginia; three granddaughters, two grandsons, two great-grandsons, one great-great-granddaughter and one great-great-grandson; sister and brother-in-law JoAnn and Larry Vaughn of Kingsport, Tennessee; brothers and sisters-in-law Frank and Faye Love; Charlie and Marie Love all of Kingsport, Tennessee; Lloyd and Christine Love of Duffield, Virginia; Dewey and Annette Love of Blountville, Tennessee; numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Friday at 11:30 AM in the Great Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. Camet Spivey officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 10:00 AM until time for the funeral service at the Great Hope Baptist Church. Burial will be Saturday in the Grandview Memorial Gardens in Bluefield, Virginia.
