Jessie Moser Carico age 100 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2023 in the Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center.

Mrs. Carico was born on June 5, 1923 in Carroll County, Virginia to Joseph Dewitt and Annie Belle Irvin Moser. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Warren Carico.

She is survived by a grandson Sandon Carico; two great-grandchildren Simon Carico and Morgan Carico; several nieces and nephews and special friend Granny Ila Hensdell.

The funeral service will be held Friday at 12:00 Noon in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Michael Senter; Pastor Wayne Marion and Pastor Chris Burnette officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 11:00 until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
