Jessie Lee Goad's Obituary
Jessie Lee Goad age 88, formerly of Galax, Virginia, died Wednesday April 13, 2016 at
Stoneybrook Assisted Living in Eden, Utah.
He was born March 29, 1928 in Fries, a son of the late Joseph Benton and Opal
Lawson Goad.
Jessie attended Fries High School and was employed by Electrolux for over 25 years. On November 24, 1954 he married Wilma Jo Bedsaul.
He was predeceased by his sisters Lucille Mastin, Kathleen Hackler and Imogene Isom.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, Jerry (Beth) of Eden, Utah and Jed (Kimberly) of
Clarksville, TN; five grandchildren, Stefanie, Clay and Nicki of Clarksville, TN; Ryan and
Andrew of Eden, UT; a sister Elsie Hamm of King, NC.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, April 22, 2016 at Vaughan Guynn
Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April, 23, 2016 at the
Vaughan Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Sam Bartlett officiating. Interment at Mt. Olivet
Cemetery will be immediately following the service.
