Jessie Dean Delp age 92 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Friday, October 24,2008 at her home. Mrs. Delp was born on October 26,1915 in Ashe County, N.C. to Edgar & Bonnie Hudler Brown. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Frank C. Delp. She is survived by daughters & sons-in-law Cora Sue Snyder of Woodlawn, Va.; Ethel & Donald Ayers of Port Deposit, Maryland; Rowena & Robert England of Rising Sun, Maryland; sons & daughters-in-law Frank & Kathy Delp of Galax, Va.; Clarence & Patsy Delp of North East, Maryland; sisters & brother-in-law Eva Billings of Sparta, N.C.; Marie Busic of Piney Creek; Louise & Larry Paisley of Winston-Salem, N.C.; seventeen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews; sister-in-law Ruth Brown of Sprta, N.C.. The family will receive friends Sunday from one until two pm at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Piney Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery.
