Jessie Lee Carico Cox age 92 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday October 31, 2006 in Twin County Regional Hospital. She was born on November 20, 1913 in Carroll County, Va. to the late Charlie Mitchell and Lola Kirby Carico. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Harlie Anderson Cox. She is survived by her sisters & brother-in-law Winnie Carico Cox & Lee of Galax, Va.; Geneva Carico Higgins of Galax, Va.; niece Karen Higgins and special friends and caregivers, Wanda Carter, Dorothy Davis and Geneva Shaw. The funeral service will be held Friday November 3, 2006 at 2:00 PM in Snow Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Ernie Smith and Rev. Joe Carrico officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from seven until nine at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
