Jessie Lee Bartley age 88 of Low Gap, North Carolina passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Mrs. Bartley was born on November 30, 1920 in Carroll County, Va. to Martin & Cora Manuel Bobbitt. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Eugene Bartley. She is survived by a son & daughter-in-law James & Amy Bartley of Windsor, North Carolina; grandchild Codie Bartley; sister Frances Gentry of Low Gap, North Carolina; several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held Thursday, March 26, 2009 at 11:00 am in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor J.R. Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the McKenzie Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from six until eight at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
