Jesse Gregory Isom age 76 of Jarvisburg, North Carolina, passed away Thursday, December 25, 2025 at the home of his mother in Galax, Virginia.

Jesse was born on July 6, 1949 in Galax, Virginia to Jessie Heath and Lala Irene Walker Isom. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother Andy Stuart Isom of Galax, Virginia.

He is survived by his mother Irene Isom of Galax, Virginia; wife Janice Lee Isom of Jarvisburg, North Carolina; sister and brother-in-law Janice Gayle and Jerry Perkins of Zellwood, Florida; brothers and sisters-in-law Jeffrey Gray and Dawn Isom of Independence, Virginia; Joseph Vance and Shelly Jo Isom of Altamonte Springs, Florida; sons Gregory Scott Isom of Middle River, Maryland; Jackson Heath Isom of Jarvisburg, North Carolina; daughters and sons-in-law Brittany Jo Jones and Walter Gilbert of New Bern, North Carolina; Jacqueline Mae Douglas and Steven Chase of Washington, North Carolina; grandchildren Michael Scott Isom and Ryan McCausey Isom of Middle River, Maryland; Alice Jo Jones of New Bern, North Carolina; Liam Thomas and Jackson Chase of Washington, North Carolina.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
