Jerry Franklin Robinson, age 73, of Galax, Virginia passed away Saturday September 18, 2021 in his home.

Jerry was born on March 8, 1948 in Grayson County, Virginia to Woodrow and Alice Anderson Robinson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Lorretta Hill Robinson and granddaughter Jessica Jones.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Tammy and Frank Martin; sons Terry Robinson and Stacey Robinson, all of Galax; grandchildren Kayla Upchurch, Ashley Edwards, Kirsten Robinson, and Jerry Robinson. Also surviving are great-grandchildren Kaleigh Upchurch, Addison Upchurch, Austin Upchurch, Bentley Edwards, Kali Edwards; five sisters; and two brothers.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday September 23, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Richard Gregory officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Independence, VA. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
